Who We Are
gcUserStudies LLC operates gcuserstudies.com. We develop and sell custom trading studies for the Sierra Chart platform. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
What We Collect
- Name and email address – to create your account and send transactional emails (account confirmation, membership status, support responses).
- Sierra Chart username – used solely to authorize your access to our studies through Sierra Chart’s DLL distribution system.
- Payment information – handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details on our servers.
- Basic site and login data – when you log in, WordPress sets session cookies to keep you signed in and remember your display preferences. These expire when you log out or within two weeks at most. Your IP address may be logged as part of standard account security functions such as password resets.
How We Use It
Your information is used to manage your membership, process payments, authorize your Sierra Chart account, and respond to support requests. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.
Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payment processing and third-party providers for email delivery. These services receive only the information necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for other purposes. You can review Stripe’s privacy practices at stripe.com/privacy.
Embedded Content
Pages on this site may include embedded content such as YouTube videos. Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you visited those sites directly and may collect data, use cookies, or track your interaction with that content according to their own privacy policies.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your account information for as long as your membership is active. If you close your account and request deletion, we will remove your personal data promptly, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes.
Your Rights
You can request to view, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Note that some data may be retained where we have a legal or administrative obligation to do so.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the date at the top of the page will reflect the change. Continued use of our service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
